Swiss International Hotels & Resorts is opening a luxury holiday resort at the foot of Mount Kenya.
The Swiss International Resort Mount Kenya, currently under development at the border of Nyeri and Laikipia Counties, is expected to open in December.
The resort will feature a deluxe hotel with 180 upscale rooms and suites, a nine-hole golf course with double tees, enabling 18 holes. It will also have 150 private villas and townhouses. The private villas will have four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and the townhouses will have three en-suite bedrooms.
Facilities will include a golf club house, an event centre for up to 6 000 people, dining venues, a fully serviced health club with a spa, a swimming pool, gym, retail centre, onsite conservancy, safari museum and a children’s playground.
