The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has launched the European phase of its ‘Real Deal Kenya’ marketing campaign.
The campaign is now available in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, where KTB has partnered with tour operators to provide holiday deals for travellers.
Tour operators in the UK include Audley, Trailfinders, Newmarket Holidays, and Alfred&, while the board has partnered with FTI in Germany and Visiteurs in France.
The campaign also includes online, YouTube and Spotify advertisements, a partnership with UK-based publication Independent, and other social media activity, according to Breaking Travel News. The goal is to direct traffic to the Magical Kenya website, where visitors will also be able to find the different itineraries and offers.
The first phase of the campaign was launched in North America last month with plans to launch in other international markets throughout the remainder of this year.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, it is anticipated that Kenya’s international arrivals will recover by up to 75% this year. This is attributed to the marketing initiatives that are being rolled out.
“This is not only a very timely and relevant initiative but also an important part of our strategy for attracting visitation from abroad, as we regain our stability from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said KTB CEO, Dr Betty Radier.
