The Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism (KLCBT) has announced that it will hold three industry workshops this month.
Eskom and Hotelstuff/Greenstuff will offer a free workshop on June 20. It will focus on energy-efficient solutions and provide guidelines on how to go green and save money.
It will take place at Southern Sun Emnotweni, 15 Government Building, Nelspruit, from 10h30 to 16h00.
The Fedhasa Mpumalanga Hospitality Workshop will take place on June 21, with specific emphasis on marketing trends, crime and funding. Experts in their individual fields will be addressing the members of the industry, including Lieutenant-General Andre Pruis, who will speak about the way forward with regard to tourism-related crime.
The event will be held at the Mercure Hotel in Nelspruit from 11h00 to 14h00 and costs R100 for members and R150 for non-members.
The SATSA Mpumalanga Speed Marketing Sessions will be held from June 27-28 at Ngwenyama Lodge. About 50 product owners will give a five-minute presentation on what they have to offer, ranging from attractions, excursions, accommodation and even infrastructure.
