The Royal Portfolio has announced the launch of Franschhoek House – an exclusive-use luxury villa located on the 30-acre La Residence estate in the Cape Winelands. The villa accommodates up to 12 guests in six individually designed suites.
The villa’s design reflects the region’s French heritage while incorporating global influences, including African and Indian décor elements. The interiors blend tradition and contemporary elegance with artworks by renowned African artists alongside a 17th century tapestry from France.
At the centre of the villa is The Long Room – a social space featuring a bar, lounge and billiard table – and an interactive kitchen allowing guests to engage with a private chef. The villa’s outdoor spaces include multiple patios, a heated pool and gardens with mountain views.
The villa comes with a dedicated team, including a private chef and concierge, access to La Residence amenities such as dining areas, spa treatments and wine tastings as well as shuttle services to Franschhoek town.
