African Bush Camps recently opened its new luxury tented safari camp, Khwai Lediba, along the Khwai River in Botswana's Khwai Concession.
The camp accommodates 16 guests and features environmentally friendly luxury tented rooms.
Accommodation includes five double rooms, one honeymoon suite, and one family suite.
Each unit features an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. The honeymoon and family units also include a bathtub and each tent comes with a private deck equipped with daybeds.
The camp's central building houses a pool, a dining area with an open kitchen, a large pizza oven, and a bar.
Other facilities include several decks and lounging areas, a shaded and secluded pool and a fire pit on the lower deck.
Guests can participate in various activities, such as morning, afternoon, and evening game drives, as well as walking and mokoro (canoe) safaris when water levels are adequate.
The camp also facilitates visits to the nearby Khwai village preschool as part of the African Bush Camps Foundation's community empowerment projects.
Khwai Lediba can be reached via a 30-minute flight from Maun Airport or a one-hour flight from Kasane Airport. Flights are followed by a 45-minute game drive transfer to the camp from Khwai Airstrip.
