Jenman African Safaris is offering guests the opportunity to witness the 2016 Annular Madagascar solar eclipse on September 1.
Guests can watch the solar eclipse on a 10-day tour, which includes some unique sightseeing in Madagascar, including lemurs, birdlife, fauna, flora, bustling markets and surrounding landscapes. The tour starts in Antananarivo, travels through Ankafobe’s dry forests and ends in Ankarafantsika.
During the eclipse, the moon covers the sun at its furthest point in orbit from the earth and the edge of the sun remains visible as a bright ring around the moon.
