As Meetings Africa approaches, 67% of respondents to our latest poll have indicated that they won’t be attending the flagship business events showcase. Of the 33% who will be attending, 18% will be going as visitors, 10% as exhibitors and 5% as buyers.

Are bookings from China on the rise?
Kenya and South Africa were the only African countries to be placed on China’s list of 20 countries approved for group travel in February. Marketing organisations and the industry at large have recognised that China has vast potential as a source market, although the stringent travel restrictions and a lack of direct flights have posed significant obstacles.
