Tourism Update Digi Mag will be introducing a new feature where we ask our tour operator readers to put together an itinerary based on a tricky brief.
We will select some of the best itineraries and publish these in an upcoming issue, giving readers the opportunity to vote for a winner. The R1 000 prize will be given to the person who comes up with the winning itinerary.
The feature aims to inspire overseas tour operators packaging sub-Saharan Africa.

Here is the brief: 
A two-week holiday for a multi-generational family of four adults and two children (two grand parents with grand children and their parents. Children are aged 8 and 11). They are looking forward to a holiday with gentle activity. The package needs to include two Southern African countries. There should be a mix of activities the family can enjoy together and leisure time. Accommodation must be of a four-star standard. Budget is R40k per adult sharing and R30k per child.
