In last week’s poll, readers were split equally over whether there would be significant growth from the South American market or no growth at all following LATAM Airlines’ return to South Africa – 29% believed there would be more than 10% growth, while 29% said there would be no growth.
Of the remainder, 19% said there would be 1%-3% growth; 17% thought growth would be 4%-6%, and 7% of readers voted that there would be growth of between 7% and 9% in the market.
Should Numbi gate be closed?
Following the attempted hijacking on the road leading to Kruger National Park’s Numbi Gate on October 3, where a German tourist was fatally shot, there have been calls to permanently close the gate in an effort to prevent incidents of this nature occurring again.
