The National Health Laboratory Service is operating a mobile COVID-19 test unit from a Mercedes van in the pause area in the international arrivals hall at Cape Town International Airport.

The operating hours are from 10h00-18h00 daily, and appointments are not required. PCR tests are done at a cost of R600 (€33), and both cash and cards may be used (except American Express). The results are available in 45 minutes and an SMS is sent, after which the certificate can be collected.
