BON in Kempton Park, Gauteng, is in the process of constructing a further seven-storey, 246-room hotel at Destiny Hotel and Convention Centre.
The brainchild of local developer, Zamani Letjane, the project is in the second phase of construction, and is due to open in November.
Destiny Hotel and Convention Centre currently has a 40-room boutique hotel and a convention centre and is looking to further host a new 220-seater restaurant, meeting rooms and a rooftop bar overlooking the OR Tambo International Airport area, Pretoria and Johannesburg, that will form part of the centre.
Letjane says: “Apart from the strategic proximity of the hotel to the airport district, our convention centre is able to accommodate as many as 2 800 delegates. In the past we have had to turn guests away.”
