Federal Airlines in partnership with The Outpost is introducing a new service connecting Johannesburg and Pafuri.
Federal Airlines Commercial Manager, Nik Lloyd-Roberts, said from October the airline would connect Pafuri in the Northern Kruger region to Johannesburg three times a week, taking guests to the exclusive-use ecoluxe hideaway, Pel’s Post Lodge, and the secluded luxury offering, The Outpost, on the Luvuvhu River.
“Direct flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from OR Tambo International Airport to the Pafuri Concession in the Kruger National Park,” he told Tourism Update.
The airline offers a premium point-to-point shuttle service and partners with luxury safari lodges, camps and tented camps, all committed to delivering a unique and exclusive accommodation service.
Lloyd-Roberts said the safari experience began on the runway on arrival, with guests shuttled from the aircraft to the lodge in open-air game-viewing vehicles.
“Providing regular air access allows guests to experience new areas that boast luxury accommodation. Furthermore, the fleet type operated by Federal Airlines allows guests to fly direct to the most remote parts of Africa, furthering their experience,” he said.
