Proflight will launch a twice-weekly schedule between Lusaka and Kalabo in Zambia next year.
The service will initially operate from April-June and October-December. Flights will operate on a Wednesday and a Saturday, departing Lusaka at 08h15 and arriving at Kalabo at 10h45. The return flight will depart Kalabo at 11h05 and arrive at Lusaka at 13h35, providing connections onto Livingstone, Lusaka and Mfuwe tourism connections, Ndola and Solwezi business connections, and international connections including Proflight to Lilongwe, and flights operated by South African Airways, Kenya Airways and Emirates Airlines.
The new flights will also coincide with the opening of Norman Carr Safaris’ new King Lewanika Lodge (previously known as Mambeti) in Liuwa Plain National Park. The lodge will open in April 2017.
