Country Hotels has added an 87-room hotel in the Northern Cape town of Springbok to its portfolio. The Springbok Inn will open on June 1 and is the second addition to the group’s portfolio this year.

The hotel will feature a large swimming pool area with an adjacent bar and lounge, as well as a fully equipped conference and training facility and four meeting rooms. The restaurant will serve breakfast, light refreshments, lunch and dinner. The guest rooms will have a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and full-suite bathroom.

Located 570km north of Cape Town, the Springbok Inn is close to Namibia and among popular nature reserves, including the Richtersveld national park and World Heritage Site, the Namaqua National Park and the Goegap Nature Reserve.
