Birkenhead House in Walker Bay, Hermanus, has undergone renovation, the Royal Portfolio has announced.
As part of the remodelling of the original Biden seaside home, three bedrooms have been expanded to almost double their previous size, while two rooms have been merged. The front house now comprises four sea-facing rooms, which can offer either twin or king bed configurations.
During the closure of the hotel, the dining area was also extended so that guests have views of Walker Bay. The space has also received a stylish and modern look with the use of glass and custom-designed love seats.
