The renovations for Little Bush Camp in the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park, are complete.
All six luxury suites have been renovated with a view to create the illusion of bringing the outdoors into the indoors.
The lodge hired designers, Derrick Tabbert Interiors and Design Republic to redesign the reception, lounge and dining areas. New furnishings in the reception include a concrete block topped with a slab of solid Matumi wood; armchairs; sofas and ottomans upholstered with natural fabrics and leather accents; and floor to ceiling hand-painted chevrons depicting the African art of basket weaving. The quartz floors feature earthly metallic tones.
The renovated bar area is now a wrap-around area with drop-down canvas and leather awnings. The dining area features new furniture, including cushioned hanging chairs on the outdoor deck.
New lighting features include large wire chandeliers inspired by African jewellery, copper glass lamps illuminating the bar area and tall standing lamps.
