The Garden Route National Park has made adjustments, based on the projected rates for the consumer price index for 2019/2020 financial year, to its entrance fees, effective November 1 to October 31 2020.
The daily fee price change also took into account suggestions from cyclists.
A day’s pass for cycling the Harkerville trails and Homtini now costs R53. Monthly, seasonal and family permits have also been introduced.
A 20% discount applies to vessels that are kinder to the environment, such as 4-stroke engines, on the condition that proof is provided. Tariffs for canoes, rowing boats and electric boats also qualify for a discount.
30 day-permits cost R100 and annual permits R200.
This applies to all visitors to the park with the exception of members of SANParks’ loyalty programme, WILD, who can enter without payment.
