Founder and Co-Owner of PAWS Africa Group, Robert Cullens Murimi, was tragically trampled to death by an elephant in Nkoteiya Conservancy in Samburu, Kenya, last weekend.
The 50-year-old resident of Nairobi was walking in the conservancy, accompanied by three Kenya Wildlife Service rangers and his business partner, who were able to flee the elephant’s attack, reported Citizen Digital.
Murimi was dedicated to wildlife tourism and was Owner of Classic Safaris, and Co-Owner and MD of Leboo Safaris, the Desert Rose Lodge and Hammerkop Migration Camp.
