Visitors to the Kruger National Park were informed that Paul Kruger Gate was inaccessible on June 28 due to protests at communities outside the gate, approximately 20 kilometres from the park, on the R536, which was blocked.
Guests were advised to use alternative gates until further notice, such as Phabeni, which is about 10 kilometres from Hazyview on the R536, to enter or exit KNP.
South African National Parks has advised that the situation is being monitored closely.
