The Elewana Collection has appointed Heath Dhana as Director of Operations for the group. Dhana joined the company 16 months ago as General Manager for the Northern Circuit and will now head up the operational team.
The Ponter family has launched luxury safari operator, Sikeleli Africa Safaris, which offers trips to Southern Africa. The company was founded by Mark and Daniella Ponter. Daniella has been in the safari industry for six years. She will drive the business from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, while Mark and younger sisters Maddelena and Jourdana will drive the business from Vancouver, Canada.

Jonathan Roos has joined the InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport hotel as Executive Sous Chef, while Kelly Mc Erlaine has been appointed Junior Sous Chef Pastry. Roos trained at the HTA School of Culinary Art and has worked at hotels including Askari Hotel and Kloofzicht Lodge.
