Luxury travel company, Ker & Downey Africa, has welcomed Landy Kent-Millar as an Inbound Travel Consultant.

Previously, Kent-Millar worked for established tour operators and has over 15 years of experience in the travel industry.

Cathay Pacific appoints new country manager

Cathay Pacific has appointed Abhijit Abhyankar as the new Country Manager for Africa and the Indian Ocean.

He will take over from Ashish Kapur who has assumed another role within the organisation. He will be based in Johannesburg and be responsible for the growth of the airline’s business and operations in the region.

Abhyankar has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and aviation sectors and previously worked for Air France KLM, Jet Airways and international hotel chain Le Méridien.

He has been with Cathay Pacific since 2009. “It has been a real honour for me to be appointed to this position. I have always experienced an unwavering level of warmth and support from our partners in Africa, even during my earlier role as Regional Head of Marketing and Digital Sales,” said Abhyankar.
