Mantis Collection has appointed Michelle de Klerk as UK Sales and Marketing Director with immediate effect. She will serve the group’s trade, press and direct clients in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
De Klerk joined Mantis five years ago as Marketing Director of its international portfolio of properties. As a senior member of Mantis’s team and being based near London, Michelle’s role has shifted to adopt a stronger sales focus, driving UK business to Mantis’s African portfolio of properties through tour operators, high-end travel agents, concierge agents and lifestyle management companies, as well as maintaining the media relationships she has with the top publications in the UK.

Jacobus van Zyl has been appointed Assistant Winemaker at Neethlingshof Wine Estate. Van Zyl has worked at a number of South Africa’s wineries and completed a harvest in California’s famed Napa Valley.
