This week’s photograph comes from Laluka Safari Lodge, a private lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve in Limpopo.

The aardvark was spotted on a game drive. Aardvarks are nocturnal, making a sighting, even during an evening game drive, quite rare.

Did you know that aardvarks would make great ballerinas? They are digitigrades, meaning they walk on their toes and not on the soles of their feet.
