Proflight Zambia has added a mid-afternoon flight to its Ndola-Lusaka service, following popularity due to reduced fares. This will be the fourth daily return flight for the airline on this route.
Return flights now cost ZMW1 550 (R1 890), excluding taxes.
From February, flight P00306 will depart Lusaka at 15h00, arriving in Ndola at 15h45. Return flight P00307 departs Ndola at 16h15 and lands in Lusaka at 17h00.
Proflight Zambia’s director of government and industry affairs, Captain Philip Lemba, said there had been an increase in travellers after the airline lowered its fares, and “decided to add another flight for convenience and to allow more travellers to connect on a daily basis”.
The flight will mainly be operated with the 29-seat Jetstream 41 aircraft, with occasional upgrades to a 50-seat CRJ-100 jet.
The additional flights will continue until end March, whereafter the frequency will be reassessed.
