Protea Hotel by Marriott Mossel Bay, situated on the Garden Route in South Africa’s Western Cape Province, recently completed a major refurbishment, including the addition of new hotel rooms.

JJ Moorcroft, Owner of Protea Hotels by Marriott Mossel Bay, says: “For many years we’ve been a 31-bedroom hotel. Between the months of May and September, Protea Hotel by Marriott Mossel Bay added seven new Harbour Rooms.”

The new Harbour Rooms are all en-suite and furbished with king and twin beds. The new rooms boast 180-degree north-facing views of the harbour, the beach, and the Outeniqua Mountains.

The hotel also refurbished all existing Harbour Suites, as well as the reception area.

Protea by Marriott Mossel Bay is located in one of Mossel Bay’s oldest buildings, the town’s original post office, and is part of the Dias Museum Complex.
