Gauteng Travel Guide, a mobile app developed by the Gauteng Tourism Authority, has recently been revamped.

The app now has a geo mapping feature, causing the device to beep and alert the user when passing the site of an attraction as well as more information on each of the attractions. Another new feature on the app includes an events listing, highlighting the various events happening around the province.

The app has been adapted for tablet use and can be downloaded from Google Play and iStore. Once downloaded, it is also able to function offline.
