Premier Hotels has launched a new Sunday spring picnic offering on the lush lawns of the Rider Haggard-influenced Quatermain Hotel in Sandton. 

For R480 (€28) per couple, guests are treated to a gourmet spread that includes chicken burgers, beef kebabs, biltong, nuts, cheeses, fruit, quiches, bread and paté, a selection of sauces and Ferrero Rocher chocolates, accompanied by fine wine and live jazz music.

The Sandton establishment has also launched a 'Make Every Night Count' package, at R1 600 (€58) per person. The package includes a complimentary cocktail on arrival, champagne and Swiss chocolates in your bedroom, a three-course fine-dining meal and free transfers to Sandton City or Morningside Shopping Centre.
