In a recent Tourism Update poll, 40% of readers forecast that recovery of the local travel trade to pre-pandemic numbers would only be seen in the second half of next year.
Only 8% of the 139 votes thought a full recovery would happen in the second half of this year, followed by 21% of votes for the first half of 2023.
15% thought H1 2024 would see a full recovery, and 16% cast their vote for H2 2024.
