The Bush Bungalows, formerly known as Kwena Chalets, beside the Letsatsing Game Reserve at Sun City, were recently upgraded.
The bungalows have been refreshed and the surrounding gardens rejuvenated, with the restaurant also recently undergoing a soft refurb.
The Bush Bungalows are located away from the main resort, and offer easy access to Sun City’s range of activities, such as the new Sun Bike Park, the Valley of the Waves and water activities.
There are free shuttles to ferry guests around the resort and guests receive complimentary entrance to the Valley of the Waves, as well as WiFi.
In 2016, the Bush Bungalows were brought into the group’s fold to further expand and diversify the accommodation options at Sun City. Currently, the group has the five-star Palace of the Lost City, the Cascades, also a five-star offering, and the four-star Soho, which is the resort’s Vegas-style hotel, as well as the three-star Cabanas. The resort’s timeshare offering, Sun Vacation Club, offers self-catering accommodation with a choice of amenities.
“In contrast, the Bush Bungalows offer an eclectic African-styled experience while keeping with the standard of quality and service that are synonymous with Sun City. In a serene setting, guests can enjoy the quietness of nature, while Sun City’s action is just a stone’s throw away,” says Thapelo Modise, Marketing Manager at Sun City.
Sun International’s Sun City draws over one million visitors each year and is an hour-and-a-half’s drive from Pretoria. Sun City offers a wide range of activities for all ages, with 30 restaurants, activities and two golf courses, all situated within one location.
