Gondwana Collection Namibia has introduced the latest addition to its Secret Collection – The Ekipa – an exclusive retreat 10km south of Andersson Gate at Etosha National Park.
Designed for two guests, the property offers a private and immersive experience in Namibia’s mopane woodlands.
The retreat draws inspiration from the “ekipa” – a decorative button traditionally worn by Namibian women as a symbol of status and heritage. The design incorporates cultural motifs with the structure’s shape reflecting the ekipa and textured panels reminiscent of pangolin scales.
“The design of The Ekipa was inspired by the landscape, culture and history of Namibia. We wanted to create something that felt timeless – a structure that honours the community and heritage of the region while blending harmoniously with the surrounding environment,” said Sven-Eric Stavby, Architect of The Ekipa.
The Ekipa provides easy access to Etosha National Park’s wildlife and landscapes with game drives and birdwatching opportunities.
