The Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) has announced a plan to market the country's tourism product in Middle East and East Asian countries.
This would include conducting tourism promotion campaigns in Israel, South Korea, China, India and Oman in the 2019/20 financial year.
According to TTB Managing Director, Devota Mdachi, the marketing plan will make tourists aware of what Tanzania has to offer. "Not all people in targeted countries are aware of the available tourism attractions in Tanzania, as well as investment potentials," said Mdachi.
TTB and Air Tanzania recently staged a tourism-cum-travel expo in India, to attract visitors to the tourist destinations in the country.
TTB is mandated with the promotion and development of all the aspects of the tourism industry in the country.
