Thompsons Africa is offering a new four-day tour, Nambia Etosha Highlights Tour, which showcases the desert-like environment of Etosha.
On the first day, guests travel from Windhoek, via Outjo, to Etosha National Park for an afternoon game drive. The night is spent at the Etosha Safari Lodge, 10km south of Andersson gate entrance of the Etosha National Park.
The second day includes a full day of game viewing in Etosha National Park, beginning at sunrise. Guests can enjoy the day exploring the waterholes along the enormous salt pan that forms part of the Kalahari Basin. The day ends with a dinner under the stars at the lodge.
On day three, guests will head toward eastern Etosha to see wildlife, including the Black rhino and the Black-faced impala. The night is spent at Mokuti Etosha Lodge near the eastern Von Lindequist gate entrance of the Etosha National Park.
On the last day, guests will travel back to Windhoek, via Okahandja, also known as the ‘Garden Town of Namibia’, to visit a local handcraft market.
Tours depart on selected Tuesdays and accommodation is on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis throughout.
