The travel industry has eagerly been waiting for news from The Ministry of Home Affairs with regards to the official announcement that UBC's are no longer valid for foreign visitors travelling with children.
Siya Qoza, spokesperson for the Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, has confirmed to Tourism Update that the Immigration Advisory Council meeting did indeed take place earlier today.
He says, "The Board met today, and considered a number of issues on the agenda, including the Unabridged Birth Certificates issue. They are going to write a report and communicate their recommendations to the Minister by Friday."
