Virgin Australia has announced a codeshare on South African Airways flights between Johannesburg and Perth, extending its network to South Africa. 
The codeshare will allow members of VA’s Velocity frequent flyer programme to earn points and status credits on SAA’s Perth-JNB flights.
Fares from Perth to Johannesburg will go on sale through Virgin's website from October 14, for travel from October 21.
