With the rising trend of health and wellness travel, &Beyond has launched a four-day yoga safari at The Homestead at &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu Natal.
Yoga classes will be led by renowned Jivamukti yoga teacher, Cherryl Duncan.
On day one, guests will be welcomed at The Homestead, a sole-use four-bedroomed villa. A light yoga class will be conducted before high tea is served. Guests will then embark on an afternoon game drive. After dinner at the lodge, a Pranayama session will be arranged. Pranayama is the formal practice of controlling the breath, and lies at the heart of yoga.
The next three days will include:
• Early-morning yoga class
• An interpretive morning safari
• After-breakfast massages
• Yoga class before high tea
• Afternoon game drive
Also included is Yoga Nidra, a highly powerful ancient meditation technique, guided meditation, a special class in the bush, bush dinners and a Zulu dance.
A private butler, chef and ranger/tracker team will ensure that everyone’s needs are taken care of.
The package includes all yoga activities, luxury safari accommodation, meals and local drinks, as well as transfers to Phinda to and from Richards Bay.
