The Zambezi Queen Collection welcomes Lisa Schmidt as its new Sales Manager looking after sales for South Africa, as well as key global markets.  

Schmidt is a highly self-motivated individual who brings a wealth of experience to the position, having worked in the hospitality, travel and tourism sectors since 1998. Her portfolio includes specialising in hospitality sales for both the international and domestic markets. 

“I have had the privilege of representing international brands such as the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group with a multi-property portfolio, Fairmont with its properties in KZN and Kenya, and the charming independently owned properties of the Petousis Family,” says Schmidt. 

In her new role, she will be looking after the Americas, Pacific, Asia and South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe regions for the Zambezi Queen Collection.

Schmidt will be working closely alongside Nicola Murtagh, working in the same capacity as Sales Manager, but will service different markets. Murtagh is a familiar face to the travel trade, having joined the Zambezi Queen Collection in July 2021, and looks after sales for the European, South African and Namibian markets.
