Nhabe museum in Maun will reopen in August with a new look.
Ompatile Sebuelo, Board Chairperson, told Tourism Update in an interview that the new structure had been built with BWP1m (€83 860) in funding from the European Union.
A new auditorium that can accommodate up to 120 delegates has been built. An office has been reserved for a major stakeholder organisation, Okavango Artists Association, which promotes visual arts in the northern part of Botswana, particularly Ngamiland.
Five studios have also been built where artists will work.
Nhabe is close to Maun International Airport.
