The Amalinda Safari Collection has opened a new private villa – Khulu Retreat – in Zimbabwe.
Savannah Stead, Head of Sales and Marketing at Amalinda, told Tourism Update that the private villa featured two large main suites, accommodating four guests.
Rooms have en-suite bathrooms with white marble tops, and an open-plan dining, kitchen and lounge overlooks the spacious teak deck fire pit, which opens to one of the Hwange vleis. There are draw-down blinds and tall windows to ensure the best views from the bedrooms.
Khulu Retreat offers a private chef and guide and its own game-drive vehicle.
Activities include full-day game drives in Hwange National Park, a walking safari, visits to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre, culture and community visits, and Pan Sits, where guests relax near the pan with full waiter service and watch the animals visiting the pan.
Khulu Retreat, along with Amalinda’s other Hwange properties, is about 10km from the Hwange National Park Main Gate entrance.
The Amalinda Safari Collection’s properties are Amalinda Lodge and Amalinda Home-Stead in the Matobo Hills; and Ivory Lodge, Khulu Bush Camp, Khulu Retreat and Tuskers Campsite in Hwange.
