Safarilink is launching a new service to Kisumu on Lake Victoria. Starting September 3, the Kenyan airline will fly twice daily from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to Kisumu.
With this new route, Safarilink passengers will be able to fly daily from Kisumu to Safarilink’s other destinations, via Wilson. This includes coastal destinations such as Diani, Mombasa, Lamu and Zanzibar. The new route is in line with the airline’s attempts to create ‘beach and bush’ destinations.
The route will be serviced by a Bombardier De Havilland Dash 8, carrying 52 passengers.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- Flights will depart Wilson at 10h45 and 17h45, arriving in Kisumu at 11h35 and 18h35 respectively.
- Return flights will depart Kisumu at 11h55 and 19h00, arriving in Nairobi at 12h45 and 19h50.
