Africa is a fascinating continent that offers an abundance of activities and adventures for tourists to experience. Here are five unique things for travellers to enjoy.
1. Skywalk in Zimbabwe
Gavin Rennie, Director of Off 2 Africa, suggests experiencing the Skywalk at Aberfoyle Lodge, in the Zimbabwe Eastern Highlands. The steel-roped bridge takes visitors across the second-highest waterfall in Africa, the Mutarazi Falls, and offers some of the most beautiful panoramic views from the middle of the bridge.
2. Gorilla trekking in Uganda
A new vehicle has been launched by Drifters Adventours in Uganda, which will bring an enhanced gorilla trekking experience to visitors, says Marketing Manager, Christiaan Steyn. Destinations such as Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park are excellent destinations to experience gorilla trekking.
3. Seven-day cultural and historical tour in Burundi

5. 37-day adventure
Adventure riders who have a taste for Africa can experience a 37-day motorbike ride across the continent with GlobeRiders Adventures. Travelling through South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia in a 6 700km ride, it is limited to 16 riders with their motorcycles.
