RwandAir will start direct flights to Tel Aviv this year after the two countries signed a bilateral air service agreement.
RwandAir CEO, Yvonne Makolo, says she cannot yet specify the exact date of commencement, but it will be soon, and within this year.
This follows an agreement, signed by Transportation Minister Israel Katz and Rwandan ambassador to Israel Joseph Rutabana, allows for each country to operate up to seven weekly flights between Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion and Kigali international airports, without restrictions regarding aircraft type or capacity.
