Pure Africa Destination Management has launched a new historic tram lunch experience with pop-up bar in Victoria Falls.
Passengers can now enjoy the popular historic bridge and tram trip from 11h45 to 14h00 every day.
“We are passionate about bringing our flair for artisanal food and craft beverages to this unique experience. We believe that pairing historical relevance with a laid-back lunch and pop-up bar experience will make this a new culinary activity unique to the Falls,” explains Jonathan Baker, General Manager for Victoria Falls of Pure Africa Destination Management.
Guests are greeted on arrival at the historic Victoria Falls railway station with beverages and a selection of gourmet sandwiches and snacks before embarking on the tram ride. The tram will then take them to the middle of the bridge for a photo opportunity of the gorge separating Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Guests will then be able to see a historical re-enactment of how the bridge was built in a small museum in the gorge before being shown a ‘secret viewpoint’ alongside a craft gin bar, accompanied by a selection of gourmet snacks, at the end of the journey.
For guests looking to extend their culinary journey, the Pure Africa Destination team offers a Signature Deck Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi Explorer followed by an Afro-chic dinner at Zambezi House Restaurant.
