Great Plains Conservation’s Selinda Camp in the private Selinda Reserve in northern Botswana will open on June 1.
The camp will have three one-bedroom tented units with canvas ceilings and thatched roofs. Each unit has a shaded open-sided inside/outside lounge overlooking the plunge pool and the Selinda Spillway. The two-bedroom Selinda Suite comes with its own dedicated staff, wildlife guide and private vehicle. As with other Great Plains’ premium camps, guests will have access to a complimentary set of Canon professional camera equipment and binoculars in each suite.
Simply arriving at the camp will be an adventure as visitors arrive via a combination of game drive and boat, water levels depending. A variety of activities will be available, including day and night game drives, walking, boating and catch-and-release fishing, depending on water levels. There will also be a new spa, offering guests various holistic treatments.
