For the first time this year, April saw an increase in the number of people in inbound tourism on a full salary.
A total of 514 Tourism Update readers participated in the monthly poll we have been conducting since January.
The number of readers saying they received their full salary declined in January from 15% down to 11% in March.
In April this rose to 18% or 92 of the 514 readers who said they received their full salary.
The overall picture remains grim, with 45% saying they received less than 40 % of their salary or nothing. It was the same percentage in March.
The questions asked was: What percentage of your salary were you paid last month?
The results for April and the previous months are below.
