East African tour operator, Augustine Tours, has added a ‘12-Day Great Rwanda Burundi Tour’ to its portfolio.
During the 12-day/11-night tour, travellers will experience an immersive excursion into Rwanda and Burundi, exploring local communities, culture, cuisine, and wildlife.
Travellers can also add a gorilla trek tour in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park or Bwindi National Park.
“The itinerary offers an enlightening and educational experience for people who want to go beyond wildlife safaris but seek deeper connections with the land and the locals,” said Augustin Ndikuriyo, founder of Augustine Tours.
The tour price includes 11 nights of hotel accommodation, tour guide allowances, entrance fees, ground transportation, breakfast, and half-board meal of choice.
“Tourism is about people wherever we might go; it brings people together on cultural and economic levels. This itinerary was designed to serve as a bridge between the tourists and locals,” said Ndikuriyo.
Ndikuriyo, an African tourism expert with 15 years of travel and hospitality experience, opened Augustine Tours in 2010. Guests can choose tours from destinations in East Africa such as Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and the DRC.
