Botswana’s national airline, Air Botswana, will resume Harare, Zimbabwe and Lusaka, Zambia, flights from April 2.
Flights will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with the airline saying that it will be deploying a 70-seater jet for the route. The airline says that increased commercial activities and movements of people between the two countries has resulted in flights into Zambia being resumed.
In 2016, Air Botswana ceased operating flights between Gaborone, Lusaka and Harare indefinitely.
Air Botswana recently resumed direct Gaborone-Cape Town flights and is intending to launch another new direct route to Maputo, Mozambique, by the end of 2019.
