Air Tanzania has announced a new direct route between Dar es Salaam and Kinshasa from March 26. The service will operate four times a week using an Airbus A220-300.
The new route is expected to enhance economic ties, providing business travellers and government officials with a more efficient link between the two countries. The service will also benefit the tourism sector by making it easier for visitors to access Tanzania’s Serengeti and Mount Kilimanjaro as well as Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (home to endangered mountain gorillas).
Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
