BlackBrick, Africa's premier aparthotel network, has announced the expansion of its footprint in South Africa.
With operational properties in Sandton, Johannesburg, and Foreshore, Cape Town, BlackBrick is to launch a new property in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, in May.
It also has further plans to open in Gardens (Cape Town) in February 2025, and in Umhlanga (Durban) in December 2025.
With additional locations in the pipeline, BlackBrick is positioning itself as a major global brand born in South Africa, with a vision to grow its network on a global scale to over 120 hotels.
“In recent years, the demand for aparthotels has skyrocketed globally, particularly in the wake of the pandemic, as travellers prioritise convenience and comfort. BlackBrick has astutely capitalised on this trend by establishing a network of apartment hotels tailored to the requirements of business and leisure travellers,” BlackBrick said in a statement.
Each of its aparthotels offers a unique value proposition by blending co-working areas, meeting facilities, and food and beverage options.
BlackBrick Bedfordview will include co-working spaces, Padel tennis, volleyball and a sculpture garden.
“As the hospitality industry continues its evolution, BlackBrick remains at the forefront, leading with its modern approach to aparthotels. With a steadfast focus on culture, design, and community, BlackBrick is not just transforming the way travellers experience the world – it's inviting them to reimagine it all together,” BlackBrick concluded.
