Air Botswana will reintroduce scheduled domestic operations from July 17.
The airline will gradually increase frequency of operations on the basis of demand and reinstate regional operations as soon as current travel restrictions are lifted.
“This is an exciting development, one that we have been eagerly awaiting. We are looking forward to resuming operations and embracing our new ways of working,” said GM, Agnes Khunwana, adding that as the airline reintroduces operations, the health and safety of staff and customers will not be compromised.
“We will incorporate industry best practices and national regulations in the fight against COVID-19.”
The public are encouraged to take advantage of the efficient air travel services that will be conducted under strict protocols and regularly supervised by entities such as the Botswana Civil Aviation Authority and Port Health officials.
