As countries around the world implement measures to safeguard their people and communities from COVID-19, we at Bushtracks Africa continue to review our terms and conditions to assist our valued clients in amending their bookings during this challenging time.
Please note the following conditions are only applicable to bookings confirmed on or after 01 January 2020 and for travel up until 31 December 2020:
BUSHTRACKS AFRICA PRODUCTS
- Amendments pertaining to travel date:
- Bookings may be amended by moving it forward by up to 15 months, at the same 2020 rates.
- FIT Bookings may be amended free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the date of travel.
- Group bookings may be amended free of charge up to 7 days prior to date of travel.
- Bookings can only be amended once.
- Amendments pertaining to pax numbers:
- FIT pax number adjustments attract a 100% cancellation fee if not advised 24 hours before pick-up time in writing.
- Group pax number adjustments attract a 100% cancellation fee if not advised 4 weeks (28 days) before pick-up time in writing.
- Cancellation of Amended bookings:
- If amended bookings get cancelled the initial amendment date prior to original travel date will be taken into consideration when cancellation fees are applied.
- Refunds:
- No refund will be made to any agent, but instead be held on file as a credit note against a future booking.
- Any outright cancellation of bookings due to the Coronavirus or any other reason will carry standard cancellation fees. Clients are advised to claim a refund from their personal travel insurance.
Terms set above are subject to availability and apply only to bookings on Bushtracks Africa owned products (Tours and Transfers) and not to any third party supplier.
THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS
- Third Party Products:
- On all third party activity and accommodation products we will do our best to negotiate the best possible cancellation terms, should a booking be cancelled by the agent/client, we cannot guarantee that it would be similar to our own.
- All third party product T&C’s will apply as communicated to you by our consultant during the booking process.
- Accommodation bookings:
- All bookings with an accommodation component will require pre-payment according to the accommodation suppliers T&C’s, before we would be able to confirm the booking. This will apply to all agents and clients.
BTA reserves the right to make changes to the above policy from time to time and to notify all agents of such changes.
